I am working on a construction project – what can I put in the dumpster?
You can use a construction dumpster for roofing, demolition, siding, concrete, carpet, insulation, kitchen & bathroom remodeling debris, remodeling, and much more. Please note that if you are putting concrete, dirt, or asphalt in any of the dumpsters – there are certain weight limits that may apply. Please contact customer service for more information here.
I am working on a household project – what can I put in the dumpster?
If you are working on a general household project – then you may use the dumpster for household items like garbage, clothing, junk, old documents, small furniture items and much more household waste that may have accumulated over the years. Please contact customer service for more information if you have any questions about an item. Making sure with us will save you time, money, and hassle.
What are the dimensions of the dumpster sizes?
Our dimensions for our containers are measured in length x width x height and are measured in feet. They are as follows: 10 yard – 8 x 14 x 3; 15 yard – 8 x 16 x 4; 20 yard – 8 x 16 x 5; 30 yard – 8 x 16 x 7; 40 yard - 8 x 20 x 7. Please note that our dumpsters come in different shapes, but these are our most common dimensions. Some dumpsters may be shorter in length, but taller in height or longer in length, but shorter in height.
How long can I keep the dumpster?
You may keep the dumpster for up to 7 days. If you wish to keep the dumpster for less than 7 days, that is no problem. If you wish to keep it longer than 7 days – a $15.00 a day fee may apply to your dumpster rental. If you wish to keep the dumpster longer than 7 days, you must notify the office within 24 hours of the original scheduled pick up date (found on invoice) or simply let us know upon delivery.
Where can I put my dumpster?
Over 75% of our customers chose to place their dumpster in their driveways. In some cities and towns, they allow dumpsters to be placed on the street. If your city allows this, you may chose to do this but will be charged for any permit fees that may be required. Prices for street permits vary by municipality.
How far in advance do I need to order?
You may schedule a dumpster as far in advance as you feel comfortable. However, since we understand that projects can arise unexpectedly – we can usually ensure delivery on a specific day with a 24-48 hours notice. Sometimes, we may be able to deliver same day. This all depends on availability. Please contact customer service for more information about availability.
What if I need my dumpster dumped and returned?
No problem. We can empty the dumpster and return it. This is considered a new rental, and your 7 day period starts over.
Do I need to be present when the dumpster is delivered?
It is not required that you be present at the location where the dumpster is being dropped off. However, you will need to give us the best possible instructions as to where you want the dumpster placed. If no one is at the location, our driver’s will use their best judgement as to where to put the dumpster based on any instructions provided.
How much is the cost and how can I pay?
The price structure for the dumpsters is as follows: 10 yard – $295; 15 yard – $325; 20 yard – $349; 30 yard – $415; 40 yard – $515. These prices do not include taxes or any other fees that may apply to your dumpster rental. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We will accept cash or check upon delivery, however we must have a credit card on file, which will be charged the full price of the rental, but then reimbursed once cash or credit has been processed.
